Suffolk County, New York, on Long Island was settled by people from the Salem area of Massachusetts. It is no coincidence that it has the same name as Suffolk County in Massachusetts. The people came from Suffolk, England. It was the place in England that had the most witch hunts.
Many of the people that settled Long Island were people kicked out of Salem, such as Lady Deborah Moody. In 1643 Massachusetts's Governor John Winthrop, wrote that "The lady Moodye, a wise and anciently religious woman, was admonished by the Church of Salem..." and "She was after excommunicated."
Like Massachusetts, people were accused and arrested for witchcraft.
Many or these people were witches that were Luciferian. They formed the basis of the Hicksite Quakers. They believed and "Inner Light" in all people was a higher authority than the bible. But the bible said, "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies" Matthew 15:19. That is what the Hicksite Chuch on Long Island belief system was based on. The bulk of this church was derived from families that left the Salem area to go to Long Island.
It was out of this Hicksite Church that Spiritualism came out of. Amy Post and her husband were members. Ougii boards and New Age channeling was derived from Spiritualism. It is communication with demons. "Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 19:31 (NAV)
In addition, the "Father of Gay Culture" Walt Whitman family were Hicksite Quakers. His mother was a lesbian. She "confessed her own episode of same-sex desire for an Indian maiden." (http://www.lgbtran.org/Profile.asp?A=W&ID=113, xi “The Sleepers.”) It was Walt Whitman that set off the Gay movement.
In other words, modern witchcraft and sodomy came out of the same church, made up of families kicked out of the Salem area of Massachusetts.
Below is a list of people that are considered the "Father"
or "Mother" of demonic movements.
