Melissa Joan Hart was not the only teenage witch from her home town. One of her peers from her small town, whom Melissa Joan Hart went to school with, of Sayville was also a headline grabbing witch, only she went a step further. They had many mutual friends. But her schoolmate went one step further and killed a popular cheerleader in a demonic ceremony by putting a plastic bag over her head, to “drive the demons out!”

     The mother of this infamous witch even gave her an appropriate name: Serena, just like Samantha’s cousin in “Bewitched” and "Madam Serena" in "Jumanji." It was a dark day in Sayville when Serena Martin, a former student of Sayville High School killed popular cheerleader Charity Miranda, in conjunction with her mother! The murder occurred on the same Aldrich Street where years earlier Sayville resident John Powers went on a shooting spree killing what he considered to be rotten kids. People of their beliefs spend their free time by sacrificing pigeons, fowls, goats, and whatever the rest of us might consider as pets, but they went further and eventually did in a cheerleader. When questioned about her fiendish behavior, Serena exclaimed that she had performed the Santeria ceremony to drive out Charity’s demons. But according to a popular Sayville rumor, she only said that because she did not want it known that the cheerleader was a sacrifice like the goats and pigeons. They had two occult symbols in the window, on Aldrich St.

     Students at the school said that  Melissa Joan Hart did not know this witch Serena. However, a lot of students said they were friends with both. They were somewhat in the same social group. Like some of her friends, Serena was often seen dressed in black that would remind people of a Goth.

A short time later a friend of John Powers went on his own spree, going after some of the survivors of the first. Mr. Powers is now living back in Sayville after he spent a short time in jail.

Long IslandWoman Accused Of Killing Her Daughter Due Back In Court

The Long Island woman accused of killing her daughter because she said the girl was possessed by a demon will be back in court this morning, along with the dead girl's sister.

Vivian Miranda will plead not guilty to charges she killed her daughter Charity. Her lawyer Eric Naiburg doesn't think the District Attorney has enough to convict his client of intentional murder.

Naiburg withdrew his request for a psychological exam. He says the mother is

coherent enough to assist in her own defense.

Vivian Miranda, 39, and Serena Martin, 20, both of 17 Aldrich St., Sayville will appear before Suffolk County Court Judge Morton Weissman in Suffolk County Criminal Court, Riverhead on Tuesday, January 27, 1998 to be arraigned on an indictment that was handed up by a Suffolk County grand jury on Friday, January 23, 1998

The crime rate is quite high. The police are doing what they can to end the murder, murders, killing, killed, mugging and muggings. Often people are caught and captured for DUI, otherwise known as driving while intoxicated. There could be a D.U.I roadblock. Sometimes the DEA will catch people with drugs, heroin, crack, cocaine, smack, angel dust, marijuana, LSD, magic mushrooms, hash, and large quantities of prescription drugs. There were some burglaries by the burglar that burgled the homes. It was burglarized by juvenile delinquents. There was an investigation by private investigators and one private investigator did a great job in the investigation. West Sayville had crime statistics published at the station. At one time there was a crime wave. The teacher at the school that taught the dropout prevention program said sometimes there are rewards for the capture of thieves that robbed at the holdup (Hold up). It is a good job for a private eye. The patrolman issued speeding ticket to the driver of the car that also was driving reckless. The conservation officers look for poachers and a poacher who fish and hunt without a license. Law enforcement is available. There is also the Sheriff's Department of Suffolk County. They use patrol cars and patrol boats to catch speeders and reckless drivers to save people from accident like the recent accident on Montauk HWY and Sunrise Highway near Broadway and Veteran's Memorial near the dump, witch is the Town of Islip Landfill.
